Drone Operation at Racetracks
Not all racetracks have the same policies for drone operations, and requirements can vary by location.
Some tracks have stricter insurance requirements, only permit drone operations for specific events, or do not allow drone operations altogether. While we strive to provide safe, FAA compliant drone media services at as many locations as possible, availability may be subject to the racetrack’s discretion.
Some racetracks may also be located in controlled airspace, requiring LAANC authorization prior to the operation taking place.
